Folder Lock – A Safe for your PC

Beaverton — Dec 4, 2012 —Newsoftwares.net has released the latest version of their flagship product Folder Lock. Folder Lock is literally a digital safe on your PC. So how does it work? Simply drag and drop your private files and folders to password protect, hide or encrypt them. You can optionally backup these files on the cloud for added security. Additionally, you can password protect your USB drives and external drives; make wallets to store your credit cards or other personal information; shred sensitive files and clean history.

Folder Lock creates digital Lockers. You can simply keep all your files and folders in them. All data is encrypted on-the-fly, with very fast 256-bit military grade AES encryption. These Lockers expand automatically when new files are added or modified. You can also move your Lockers to portable drives, convert them to executables, or give them to collegues and friends via email if you wish to share files secretly with them.

Version 7 includes many new features. You can now run the application in complete stealth; you can track illegal attempts made to break the password and deny access to the program or password protect different areas of the program; you can also choose to automatically close the application after a set interval; choose to hide the application in many ways; and backup as many files and folders you protected as you want.

Newest and latest features in this version of Folder Lock include a newly redesigned GUI focused towards ease of use, substantially lowering the learning curve for many first time users. Technical enhancements include complete compatibility with all variants of Windows 8 operating system and faster encryption and decryption of files.

System Requirements:

Folder Lock will run under Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7, and windows 8. It requires 4MB of RAM and 5.0MB of free hard disk space.
