Choose the folder in Cloud Locker that you want to share with other user. Both you and your user (or users) must be using the same Cloud Service.

Step 2: Now you have to decide which users you want to give access to. To do this, enter the email address of Folder Lock 10 user who you wish to share the folder with. Add the user(s) in the list and click on “Apply Permissions” button.

Steps 3-6: Follow the remaining steps after permission applied. Now use the Cloud Service’s share feature to share the folder with the receipt. Use the email address that he/she uses in the Cloud Service (which is not necessarily his email address in Folder Lock 10).

The receipt must click ‘Add item(s)’ from Shared folder to get them in his/her Locker folder. All Cloud Services offer such a feature that lets them keep shared items in their main location.

Furthermore, you can Manage with whom you already shared the folder. In View Shared, you can remove any user from the list or you can add any other user in the shared users list.

All files shared through this process will remain encrypted when seen from the cloud service. Both users must have the Folder Lock and the Cloud Service installed on their device to be able to share and access shared files and folders.

Folder Lock makes use of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) to make this possible with both Asymmetric encryption (RSA algorithm) used for Signatures which using Symmetric encryption (AES 256-bit algorithm) for the data.
